A question or a data request?
Email success@eksido.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. You can use this address to ask for access, correction or deletion, or to object to marketing.
1. Who is responsible
Eksido North S.L. is the controller for the personal information described in this policy. Our company tax number (CIF) is B67539320. Our registered address is Calle Balmes 173, Piso 4, Pta. 2, 08006 Barcelona, Spain. Contact us at success@eksido.com.
When we deliver services using a client’s systems and process information on that client’s behalf, the client’s privacy notice and our agreement with that client apply to that processing.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, organisation and the information you include in an enquiry, assessment or demo request. Particular forms may also ask for your role, country, service interest or project details.
- Newsletter information: name, email, subscription choice, consent records and unsubscribe status. Email reporting can include delivery, opens, clicks and bounces.
- Website and campaign information: pages visited, interactions, referral and campaign tags, landing and submission pages, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, and personalisation campaign interactions. Hosting services also process request information such as IP addresses.
- Business correspondence: messages, follow-up notes and records needed to respond to you or manage a customer relationship.
- Platform information: information made available through an authorised social-platform connection, as explained below.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information for the following purposes and legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Answering requests and providing services: taking steps you request before a contract or performing a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)). For representatives of business customers, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing the business relationship applies (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Newsletters and optional promotional email: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). An enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to the newsletter.
- Optional analytics, advertising and personalisation: consent where required. We use these tools to understand website use, measure campaigns and tailor content. We also use campaign information submitted with enquiries to understand which activity generates business interest, relying on our legitimate interest in measuring our own marketing where consent is not required.
- Security, administration and handling disputes: our legitimate interests in operating a reliable website and protecting our business and users (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Legal and accounting duties: compliance with applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can always object to the use of your information for direct marketing.
4. LinkedIn and other platforms
Eksido uses its LinkedIn application for integrations supporting Eksido’s own campaigns. Access is limited by the products LinkedIn approves, the permissions granted and the authorising user’s account or page role. Listing a use here does not mean every integration is currently enabled.
Authorised integrations may provide company-page and post activity, campaign and advertising statistics, and business contact details and answers that people submit through platform lead forms. We use this information to measure campaigns, handle enquiries and, where configured, keep corresponding Salesforce records. We do not obtain private LinkedIn messages, passwords or unrestricted access to member profiles through this application.
Where conversion sharing is enabled and the applicable permission and legal basis are in place, we may send campaign outcomes and matching identifiers to an advertising platform. Matching identifiers can include a hashed email address or platform click identifier. Hashing does not make this information anonymous.
LinkedIn, Meta and Google also process information under their own policies and settings. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. To request deletion of personal information held by Eksido through an integration, email success@eksido.com and identify the relevant platform or interaction. Requests about information held independently by a platform should also be directed to that platform.
7. International processing
Our providers and their support teams may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, a transfer requires an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as European Commission standard contractual clauses and any necessary supplementary measures. Contact success@eksido.com for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
8. How long we keep information
Retention depends on the purpose and record type. We keep enquiries and relationship records while needed to respond, carry out agreed work and manage relevant follow-up. Contractual, accounting and dispute records may need to be kept longer to meet legal obligations or establish and defend claims. Information no longer needed for those purposes is subject to deletion or anonymisation.
Newsletter information is used while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe or object, we may retain a restricted suppression record and evidence of your choice to prevent further marketing and demonstrate compliance. Website and platform statistics follow the retention settings and limits of the relevant service; browser storage may also expire or be removed by you.
You can ask us about the retention criteria for a specific record or request deletion. We will explain any legal reason that prevents immediate deletion. The Agentforce Challenge has its own stated retention criteria in its privacy notice.
9. Your rights and choices
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter to stop those emails, or contact us to withdraw a marketing choice. For other requests, email success@eksido.com. Tell us enough to identify the relevant interaction; do not send identity documents unless we ask for proportionate verification. We normally respond within one month and will explain any permitted extension.
You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.
10. Security and required information
We use access controls and technical measures appropriate to the systems and information involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not include sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential information about other people in website forms.
Required fields are marked on each form. Without the details needed to handle a request, we may be unable to respond or provide the requested service. Optional marketing choices are separate. Our business services and campaigns are intended for adults.
11. Other notices and updates
The Agentforce Challenge privacy notice explains entry administration, judging and competition-specific records. Individual services and client projects may have additional notices or agreements.
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be explained here and communicated directly where required.
